Let Me Drive
Let Me Drive
Although being born in Sydney Ryan grew up in the country on his familys Shorthorn Stud. Growing up travelling to various Shows and Sales around the country instilled in him a love of the land and Country Music which can be heard all around the industry in which he still currently works.
Ryan believes that not only Country Music but all types and styles of music play an important role in life as it often shares a common parallel with the day to day life of himself, his family and friends. The most enjoyable part of performing to a crowd for Ryan is when a song connects with one or several people in the crowd and that is something that he gets a real kick out of.
His influences are from artists such as Garth Brooks, George Strait, The Eagles, Keith Urban, Troy Cassar-Daley, and many other varied artists from just as many varied genres. His many different work environments have also contributed to his varied tastes in Music, his been a Stockman, a Salesman, a Truck Driver, a Horse Worker and a Stud Cattle Groom.
Ryan comes from a long line of performers from his Great Grandfather being a travelling performer of Gilbert & Sullivan productions in the Central Western Districts of NSW, to his Gandparents on both sides performing as singers in Sydney, and his Mother a singer and Father a drummer. So it is fair to say that being a performer is something he was bound to end up doing.
