Song number 107.02
A product of a divorced family at five years old. Justin’s pain and loss was great as he identified with the pop songs that were on the radio at that time. This was 1980 and music was at its height of popularity. Top 40 Hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s resonate through him and through his music. He has always believed in delivering the same song in a slightly different way. So as, to hold the listener with something they are familiar with, but give them something new that will excite them.
Many artists struggle to establish their musical identity, laboriously trying on different musical styles, looking to find what fits. But there are others that emerge fully formed, in full command of their craft, their identity and their music. Justin Kemp fits firmly in the latter category. Though he is from Dallas, Texas he is signed to a publishing deal with Century Music Group in Nashville, Tennessee. And is in talks with Tinderbox Music (311, Sublime, Imagine Dragons) about a press and radio campaign to push his new EP.
Justin Kemp is the father of two handsome young boys who are the light of his life. He is a firm believer in Jesus Christ. Music is not his life, but his passion. With hard work and determination, Justin has learned how to convey his deepest inner feelings into works of art with great pop hooks and introspective stories.
